Motorcycle transports to the U.A.E.

Packaging For transports to the U.A.E., the motorcycle must be packed in one case. Just talk to your local motorcycle dealer - they are often happy when the overpack of new vehicles can be disposed free of charge. Best try your luck at one of the dealers of Italian or Japanese manufacturers. Although many brands have already converted to returnable packing, you should give it a try! You will save hard cash if you keep your box as small as possible, e.g. by removing the front wheel.
Alternatively, packaging can take place via an enterprise in Hamburg determined by us. Please note that transportation costs are higher in this case, since – due to liability reasons - no parts of the motorcycle may be removed and thus the packaging will be more spacious. Further package can be stowed unless hazardous substances according to aviation regulations are involved (e.g. batteries/accumulators, methylated spirits, motor oil, aerosols).
Our prices are calculated individually, so please inform us about length, width and height (please remove mirror!) as well as weight. Primarily, volume matters! The smaller the box, the cheaper the transportation costs!

For a trouble-free import and export in your country of destination, a so-called Carnet de Passage is recommended. It is exclusively available at automobile clubs (in Germany ADAC). For a binding information concerning final import of vehicles, please be addressed to the automobile club or the customs authorities at the destination.

Besides transport via airplane, we offer maritime transport.. We have direct contacts to forwarding agencies in Dubai, Muscat and Tehran. We are also able to transport to other destinations. However, we do not maintain business realtionships in cities apart from the ones already mentioned. Aside from the option to book one-way transport only, we offer outbound transport via plane and return transport via ship as well as the other way round.

Air freight

Potential delivery points are Hamburg, Frankfurt, Cologne, Stuttgart and Munich, return transport is possible to Frankfurt only. Upon request, collection/handing over of the transport box can be effected at your premises.

About one week prior to departure, your motorcycle will be shipped. Thus, on-time arrival is guaranteed. After customs clearance – that has to be effected jointly with the passenger (approx. time duration 3 to 5 hours) - your motorcycle just needs to be unpacked and off you go! The empty box will be stored by our correspondent or left at the destination (in case of a oneway-transport).
Please contact our forwarding agent a few days prior to return transport and coordinate your vehicle´s drop off. Upon completion of your vacation and customs clearance, your motorcycle will be repacked into the box. Anything else will be organised by us here in Hamburg or by our partner at the destination. Please calculate approx. 10 days for return transport.

Transportation and customs clearance for both ways are included in our service. Storage of the empty box as well as present fuel and security charges besides fees for dangerous goods are also included. The costs are based on the height of the transport box and amount to approx. € 4,500.00 for a standard touring enduro (both ways).

Sea freight

The only potential delivery point is Hamburg. Upon request, collection/handing over of the transport box can be effected at your premises. About 3 to 4 weeks prior to departure, your motorcycle will be shipped. Thus, on-time arrival is guaranteed. In Hamburg, the box will be loaded into a container, so it is protected against salt water.

As an option, we offer a transport insurance against total loss and transport damage of your motorcycle. The premium amounts to 1.6% of the vehicle value, at least € 160.00. The insurance does not include baggage jointly stowed with the motorcycle. We recommend enquiring about a luggage insurance. The damage must be visible from outside, retention comes to € 500.00 per claim.
